Today, in Franklin, De’Ondric Clark’s (DOB: 1-26-01), age 19, of New Iberia, was sentenced to life imprisonment at hard labor without the benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence in the second-degree murder of Braylen Foulcard, age 16, by the Honorable Keith Comeaux.
On October 23, 2016, officers with Franklin police department responded to the 500 block of Augustine Maze street in Franklin where they found Braylen Foulcard shot and killed inside his vehicle. Through investigation it was learned the victim had arranged to meet Clarks to sell a cell phone.
The case was prosecuted by the 16th Judicial District Attorneys office, Assistant District Attorney Erica Johnson Rose.
