ST. MARY PARISH MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO INDECENT BEHAVIOR WITH JUVENILES

     Dong Van Tang, 57, of Amelia, pled guilty to Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile on May 14, 2025. A sentencing hearing is set before Judge Vincent Borne on August 12, 2025.

     The juvenile victim in this case reported that Tang touched her inappropriately, which prompted an investigation by law enforcement.

     This case previously went to trial in 2024. However, that trial resulted in a mistrial due to juror misconduct.
